I had a great time at our end of year outing at yatton park!  I was particularly good at soccer dribbles which I mustered up massive amounts of enthusiasm for, cheering on my friends and getting round the course with a long dress on :p

My ride in a ford mustang

I was really lucky yesterday, Michelle organised a ride in a ford mustang for me, I have never been so excited!!!! I went for a cool ride, and had plenty of photos with it!!!!!

Today we finished our super heros poster for our disco later in November I think it loos awesome

My new house

Over the weekend myself and my mum moved to our new house, I like.and my new bedroom and my cat Oscar came with us as well, I still get picked up and dropped off in the van.

Outing

We had a choice outing, we went to ferguson park in matua, it was such a beautiful warm day, we each had a ice cream to cool off.

Art

We've been busy in art, creating these boxes for a Christmas advent calender, I've been helping to paint the boxes and stick stars onto them.

Pottery

I've been busy in pottery over the past few weeks, I'm still completing my pinch pot, but have painted them now, were waiting for them to be vanished now.

Girls group

We've been busy in girls group lately making gift boxes, I had great fun decorating them with stars

80's disco

On Friday we had a fundraiser disco, it was 80's theme, some of us dressed up in the theme. We certainly did plenty of dancing. It was a lot of fun!!!!!

Embroidery exhibition

All of us girls went out to the embroidery exhibition at bay court, there was some really nice work there that would of taken a long time to complete, David's mum, Linda showed us around. I found a wolf cross stitch that I really liked.

Girls group

We had a cool girls group session, I helped Annette and Michelle prepare a fruit salad platter, we each brought in a piece of fruit to share, I brought in a mango!!! It was yummy,especially with our chocolate fondue sauce we made.

Music

We had a awesome jam session in music, I really liked playing the guitar. It was a lot of fun.

Outing

We had a great outing last week, it was really nice weather, and we all had a good run around playing various sports.

Out to the park

We went out to the park this morning, waipuna park. It was a lot of fun, playing cricket, I had a go on the see saw with my friend Shelley.

Art

This week in my art session I made a tie dye pillowcase, I really enjoyed dipping the material into the dye.

Make overs

We had a awesome girls group session, we all had make overs. We each had our hair and make up done, it was a lot of fun, and we got some cool photos of afterwards.

Sensory room and pottery

Today I've had a great day, I went up to the Greerton centre and spent sometime in the sensory room, I also carried on with my pot that I have made in pottery

Cooking

Our cooking class have been pretty busy lately, I completed one of my IPP goals this week by learning to make macaroni cheese, it was also really yummy

Yatton Park

Today we had a walk at Yatton Park. it was great to get outside in the sun and see the trees and gardens

We had pottery today up at Greerton, I continued on with my pinch pot that I started to make last week, I got rid of all the rough edges today.

Writing the comet

We have started to write the new edition of the comet, I had a good look through an old one to get the idea of what there all about. I started a piece on girls group.

Breast cancer morning tea

We celebrated breast cancer by having a morning tea, with some of the guys from Greerton!!! I helped get some of the food ready, and it was pink!!! We had great fun

Out for lunch, muffin fundraiser

Last Thursday we had a busy day, we made muffins as a fundraiser, which took quite a long time!!! We packaged them into containers and then delivered them. We also were lucky enough to go out for lunch to the citz club!!!! It was very nice.

Mother's Day morning tea

Last week for Mother's Day, us girls and the staff organised a special morning tea for our mums, here we are with our mums at the morning tea, it was great fun, and our baking was delicious.

Today we've been very busy in girls group, baking!!!! We're getting all prepared for our Mother's Day morning tea next week. The muffins look great!!!!

Outing to omokoroa

Last friday we went on a outing to omokoroa beach, was very nice and warm there. We went and had a look at the wharf, we saw plenty of boats.

Us girls have been very busy, getting all ready for our Mother's Day morning tea. Today we made cards for our mums or caregivers, and also had a peep at Michelle's wedding photos!!

My time at Wilrose so far

I've been pretty busy at Wilrose so far, here are a few snip its. So far I have really enjoyed going to the sensory room, doing some art and playing Ludo with everyone.
