BBQ at Yatton Park

We had an awesome day at Yatton park today. We did lots of different activities and had burgers made on the BBQ for lunch

Nice Lunch

We did a shared lunch at Wilrose this week. We also had a few of the guys singing Christmas carols and some people got up and danced. 

New Hat

I am looking forward to Christmas. I have asked Santa to get me an IPhone 5. I would like a black one. What do you think of the hat that I bought today.

Yummy chocolate muffins

We made some chocolate chip muffins in cooking. I am getting everything out that we need to make them and then we can start mixing everything.

Indoor Sports

It was raining for our sports outing so we put up a net at work and played volleyball with a balloon. It was good fun.

Cooking

We cooked some things for the Cafe we are having here next week. I am not going to tell you what because it is a surprise.

Soccer challenge

Wilrose played Greerton in a game of soccer this week. I did not play because I am still getting over a bit of a cold. That is probably why we lost the game.

Day out

We went to a place called Bullswool Farm. It is near Paeroa and has lots of animals that you can feed and pat. We had a fun day and loved walking around the farm looking at all the different animals.

Fun Cafe

We had a good time at the Wilrose cafe this week. Lots of nice drinks and food. We danced after we had our food and then cleaned up ready for home.

Helping in the Office

I have been helping do some jobs in the office. I answer the phone, do laminating and sometimes I get to do some typing on the computer. It is good fun doing these jobs and I like helping.

Drama production

We had our drama show this week. It was Mary Poppins. We did lots of singing and acting.

Basketball Game

We had a game of basketball against the guys from Greerton. It was good fun and we won the trophy. Last year Greerton beat us but this year we beat them 11-8. Here is a picture of our team.

Dance Off

We went to a disco at the Te Puke centre. It had an international theme and everyone dressed up from different countries. It was a real good day and we had a dance off competition that I had a go at because I am a pretty good dancer. Here is me in action.

Cooking Session

I am grating the vegtables for fritters, but I am not doing the onions ha ha! The fritters were really tasty and they were healthy as well.

Study Group

This is a photo of the Study Group that I am part of. We are doing this through Open Wananga and it is good fun because it is helping me to learn more about writing good stories and to add and subtract. We do it twice a week and when we finish we get a certificate that I am going to put in a frame and hang up.

Wilrose Sci Fi Disco

Hi everyone. We had a disco at Wilrose this week and we had a science fiction theme so that we could all dress up for it. I came as a alien police woman. It was good fun and my mum and her friend came down to have a look at us all. Really funny because they came dressed up as well.

Hannah Follas Reporting

This week the reporters for the Comet magazine started writing some stories for the next issue. Me, Jason, Dillon and Anton all help to put the magazine together. It is fun.

Love birthdays

A lot of the people here are having birthdays this month. We have a cake and sing happy birthday to them at afternoon tea. This was Christel's birthday. Yummy.

Office worker me

I have been answering the phone sometimes at work. I like doing this because one day I might be a secretary for someone in an office. The picture is of me and Christel who answers sometimes as we'll.

Trip to Hamilton

Last week a few us from Wilrose and Greerton went to Hamilton to watch the Disney on Ice show. I had a really good time. The show and all the costumes were awesome. I would love to be able to skate like them.

We had a BBQ with the guys from Greerton and Te Puke. It was really nice to catch up with them and the BBQ had sausages and meat patties wih lots of sauce wrapped in bread.

Mothers day Afternoon tea

We went to the domain as a centre for some sports. We played cricket, rugby and flew some kites. We also had a picnic for lunch. It was awesome
