Working on the farm is great, here I am getting feed for the chickens and putting the dogs back in thier kennel after playing with them.

In girls group today we found our new furry friends in the Warehouse in Tauriko, so cute and cuddly.

Lots of fun today helping Judy with making mobiles which will be sold in the shop.

Today we all helped in the Wilrose garden, I was given the task of sweeping the paths.

Jewellery and beading

These are the Angels we made in jewellery and beading. They are made from polymer clay and they are baked for 20 minutes to make them hard. 

Sketching

Today we checked out a large mural in town and visited the Zeus gallery. The trampoline paintings were really cool.

Art.

Concentrating on my work and having fun at the same time. We drew pictures and then copied the picture onto a polystyrene tray, then painted the tray and pressed it onto paper. Making a paper print.

Maori culture

After learning Maori songs and words we coloured in signs to place around the centre.

This week we made brownie, it was fun to make and it tasted wonderful.

Marae Visit

We visited Ohinemutu Marae and had fun exploring the place. We saw the Wharenui, church, graves of soldiers, an old Waka and some beautiful carvings and steaming, bubbling water.

Wingspan

My favourite bird of prey at Wingspan was the falcon. I took many photos on my phone of all the different birds. It was awesome.

I really enjoyed our trip to the classic car museum. My favourite car was the Maserati.

The Daisy Hardwick walkway looks lovely and clean because our volunteer group picked up rubbish while we enjoyed the walk.
