I-sing Christmas performance

 I loved performing my song 'A thousand years" at our I-sing christmas performance. My Dad and mum both suprised me by showing up to watch me perform! It was a great day spent with friends and family.

Acts of service

This week Taylor & I helped bake steamed puddings. We dropped them off to the Under The Stars organisation to provide food to people in need. 

Mount Maunganui

 I enjoyed my day out exploring Mount Maunganui with my friends. We explored around the rocks and had a picnic lunch. 

Duck & Eel Feeding

It was a lovely day out to feed the ducks and Eels at Belvedere Park, we took a nice walk sight seeing and using the binoculars to check out the birds & ducks.

Community Outings

 I enjoyed doing our centre shopping at Fraser cove. I bumped into my friend Oconnor.

McLarens Falls

This week my Discovery group went exploring at McLarens falls. We walked through a bush walk to a beautiful waterfall. 

Marble bar

 I had a great time at the Marble Bar playing pool with my friends. 

Healthy connections

 I am enjoying doing the healthy connections course, Whanaungatanga Ora. We only have 1 more session to go. This week I created an emotions face, did abit of acting and played some emotions games and activities. 

Coast Care

 This week our Discovery groups volunteered in our comunity by helping Coast Care in protecting the sand dunes at Mount Maunganui beach. We weeded all of the yellow flowers out of the sand dunes, as they are weeds that will over grow the sand dunes that protect our beaches.  We worked really hard as a team and did such a great job. 

Project Papatuanuku

 I was great in our Wilrose garden, helping out with the weeding & repotting seedlings.

My 'purple' disco

 I had a great time partying at my' purple' themed Disco that I helped organize a day decorate for my goal. Everyone dressed up in different shades of purple and of course I wore my special purple dress. I had even dyed my hair purple for the occasion! 

Puppy Love

 We had a lovely afternoon taking these friendly puppy’s for a walk around the block and cuddles at the park. 

Frenz group

 I had a fun social afternoon in Frenz group playing pool with my friends at the Marble bar. 

Anthree homestead

 It was intresting on the tour at the Athenree homestead. It was like going back in time to when they didn't have any electricity. Everything was done by hand. My favourite part was seeing the horse. They use to be like the tractors back in the day! 

Act of service

  I enjoyed volunteering and doing an act of service at the Greerton Library this week. I sorted the returned picture books by their letters, put them in my trolley and took them back to the right place on the shelf. I liked helping to tidy up the library! 

Twinkl ~ Daffodil activities

 I am very creative and enjoyed creating my own daffodil day art. 

Papamoa Hills

I enjoyed exploring the Papamoa hills and learning the hisory of the hills. In the afternoon my friends and I enjoyed the sunshine while at Papamoa beach.

Baking for "Under the Stars"

I have been busy in our Wilrose kitchen this week. I helped bake a big bulk of banana cakes that we delivered to the Under the Stars organisation that provides food for homeless and people in need.

  

Fishing

 I had fun fishing with my friends. We didn't bring any fish home but we did catch a starfish.
