Sand dunes

 This week my Discovery group went to Papamoa beach to help plant sand dunes to protect our beach. I dug holes, planted fertilised seeds and refilled the holes with sand. 

Merivale community garden

 My Discovery group went to the Merivale community garden and picked some fresh lettuce's. We then washed them and boxed them up to drop off to our local foodbank to be given out to people in our community to enjoy. 

Creative kitchen

 Today I creative kitchen I had a look in the cupboard and created a recipe with what we had. Bean pasta was what I helped to come up with. I cooked the the pasta, grated some cheese and stirred the tomato mixture so it didn't burn. I loved how it tasted I would give it a ten out of ten! 

Matariki disco

  I had a great day filled with lots of good music at our Matariki Disco day. It was great getting to eat a hangi pot and boil up for lunch. I had a good time with lots of friends.
