Hangi & Disco Day

Today we had a disco at our centre while our lunch was cooking. In our Hangi we had Chicken, Pork, pumpkin, potatoes, cabbage and fried bread followed by steam pudding and custard. I enjoyed singing on the microphone & dancing with my friends.

Guitar playing

One of my goals is to learn to play the guitar. I learned all the names of the parts of the guitar and then started learning some basic chords. We are going to learn happy birthday first!

Race day

I enjoyed going to watch the horses race, at the Tauranga race course. I liked picking my favourite horse that I thought might win the race! It was a good day out.

Orchids are us

Went to the Orchid show with some of my friends from Arohanui, it was really cool and we were given an orchid to pin on our tops. Lovely...
