Fun times in the month of May

Hey hey, Wolf Girl here! I’ve had a cool month, busy as, but so much fun.

At the centre, I’ve done mindfulness colouring, reading, and practicing my moves for the iSing & iDance show.

It’s been a cold month so chilling in the sensory room watching movies like The Greatest Showman, playing

heaps of games has been really nice.

I have headed to Greerton Hall for Bay Active, did grocery & op shopping, Acts of service at Greerton Library

and the 15th Ave op shop.  We made the most of the sunshine at Fraser Cove and Morland Fox Park.

I also popped into Fraser Manor rest home to play games with the residents. We also teamed up with Coast Care

to plant native spinifex in the sand dunes at the Mount beach. I even went for a peaceful bush walk at

I'Anson Reserve, Te Puna using binoculars to spot local birds, bugs & fungi.

To wrap it all up, we got stuck into some projects. I picked out some top-notch photos to print off, learnt how

to grow mushrooms, bagged up kowhai seeds to raise funds for our centre & I also rolled up my sleeves to give

the centre van a good scrub.

I enjoyed a sausage sizzle at Yatton Park, watched the gee-gees at the Tauranga Racecourse, & grabbed a lovely

lunch at the Citz Club with the Connect 20 crew.

It’s been such a choice month, and I can't wait for the next one!

My friends and I counted out 50 Kowhai seeds to put in a bag and label, all ready to be sold.
