Fun times in the month of June

What a month! June was absolutely packed. I kept up with my usual routine, weekly supermarket & admin red bag runs, hitting the Greerton shops, soaking up the sun at Tye Park, and burning off some energy at Bay Active. I even made my own poi at the Greerton library workshop.

We also cruised down to Rotary Park to snap some landscape photos and plan our next six-week photo theme, then grabbed some cool frames from Crackerjack at Fraser Cove to show them off. Another massive highlight was heading to Event Cinemas to watch the Michael Jackson movie,I loved it.

Food-wise, I had a choice hot lunch at the Citz Club with the Connect 20 social group. But the best feed had to be when my dad hooked us up with 37 pieces of fresh fish from his fishing trip! We got it all battered up, ordered some hot chips, and had the best lunch.

I like to lend a hand, so I did some volunteer work at the Greerton Library, helped collect donated chairs for our centre, and pitched in at the SPCA Op Shop. When we weren't out and about, we kept busy at the centre weeding the front garden, feeding the worm farm, removing Kōwhai seeds, and getting creative in the art room.

The absolute best part of the whole month, though? I totally rocked the stage at our Wilrose iSing, iDance, Kapahaka performance. I felt like a total superstar! It was also nice to just chill out in the warm sensory room and kick back with some movies like Ordinary Angels and Jurassic Park 3.

Bring on next month for more good times. Hannah aka Wolf girl
