Crafts & games with friends

I have started my wolf canvas & I am excited to see my progress each week. I had fun playing cards & memory games with my friends.

Wilrose Disco

I had the best day dancing & singing with my friends at our Wilrose Golden Oldies themed disco. We ate a yummy hot lunch of pumkpin soup & fried bread that I had helped prep the day before. 

Painting

 This week I started painting my wolf canvas, it will look amazing once it is finished. 

Fishing

 My friends & I made the most of the sunshine & went fishing at Pilot Bay, we then had our lunch 

on the beach. I had such a fun day.

Making "Konae"

My Discovery was centre based Harakeke for Whare Tapa wha. Linda taught us how to make "Konae" which is a 2 cornered Kete. We learnt a lot together & i look forward to making more. I liked the opening & closing karakia & learning how to stretch our bodies to warm up our breathing.  

Volunteering at the SPCA op shop

 I am a fantastic help at the SPCA op shop, I know where my volunteer badge is and can work my way around the shop knowing what needs doing. 

Talent quest

 I sung in our talent quest on Friday. I sung wanna be me too. I had some great dance moves and everyone cheered for my performance!
